Vegan protein isn't just about tofu...
There a many different options nowadays, from tofu and tempeh to seitan and mock meats, the list is endless! Don't forget that vegetables in their natural form contain protein as well.
Mock meats
Mock meats come in so many varieties, like meatballs, "hamburger" and "chicken" patties and nuggets, sausages and ground "beef".
These are great options for those that are looking for variety or for those making the transition to a plant based diet. These are also great ways to introduce others to a vegan diet.
It's worth noting that some of these products may contain GMO's, genetically modified organisms.
Below is a great link that lists companies that use, planning on discontinuing and don't use GMO's:

Seitan
Seitan is a wonderful protein source. Its often called wheat meat, which is made from wheat gluten. This is a very versatile product, great in stews, stir fry, tacos, BBQ sandwiches... almost anything you can think of. This also makes a great topping on vegan pizza!
"Beef" stew is a great meal and easy to make. In a crockpot add seitan, potatoes, peas, carrots, onions, celery and a packet of stew seasoning and cook.
I personally like Upton's Naturals seitan. Upton's Naturals offers several varieties of seitan; "ground beef", italian, chorizo and traditional styles. They even make Chorizo-style seitan tamales! Check them out at http://www.uptonsnaturals.com
Note: Upton's does not use GMO's in their seitan.

Tempah
Tempah is fermented soybeans formed into cakes that you can slice and add to a variety of dishes.
Very high in protein and fiber, this is great in stir fry and sandwiches. I like slicing tempah, brushing BBQ sauce and coating it with bread crumbs and panfrying till crispy. Goes great with a nice baked potato!
